Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Monarch Lakes Dental Group at (954) 441-5453; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. This is the most knowledgeable dentist I have ever come across, I guess that’s why he is one of the few who holds a MASTERS DEGREE IN IMPLANTS AND FULL MOUTH REHABILITATION. I love my hollywood smile.

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the billing practices at Monarch Lakes Dental Group where I recently received care. I was charged ahead of the service and was explicitly told that the amount quoted was the total I would be responsible for paying. However, after the service was completed, I was charged additional fees without my knowledge or consent. This situation reflects a serious miscommunication that appears to benefit the dental office financially, rather than the patient. Patients rely on clear, honest explanations of costs before agreeing to treatment. Changing charges afterward is misleading and unfair, especially to patients who may not fully understand dental billing or insurance procedures. I am deeply concerned that these practices take advantage of patients and create confusion that results in increased charges. Healthcare should never feel like a money-making scheme where patients are pressured or misled into paying more than what was originally agreed upon. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure transparency, ethical billing practices, and patient protection, so that other patientsβ€”e

I recommend this office to all of my family and friends because they are simply the best! I feel so comfortable to express my concerns with my oral health and know that it will be taken care of by this amazing team! Dr. Barreto is so kind and so is my favorite hygienist, MaitΓ©!

Great office, everyone I spoke to was very kind and knowledgeable. I had not been to a dentist in a long time and was very anxious about getting a check up but they made me feel very comfortable. The services are very affordable even if you don’t have insurance and I appreciate that they give you multiple treatment options with quotes before proceeding. Also, the hygienist that cleaned my teeth left me a brand new mouth! Couldn’t believe how white they looked after just one cleaning. Will definitely be returning!!

My names Javier and I went to Dr. Barrreto about 3-4 years ago for a complete mouth restoration. My teeth were in horrible state. I had and needed it all (root canals, extractions, implants, veneers). I was referred to Dr Barrett's by a good friend of mine who also had extensive work done. Upon meeting the staff from the first greet I knew I was in the right place. Dr Baretto interviewed me in a room that showed all of his degrees and certifications that made up all the walls of this large room and after speaking to him he put my nerves to rest. After agreeing to the 6 month procedure(yup it was extensive!!) my nerves built up again just not knowing what to expect. His staff was extremely professional and friendly they helped calm my nerves and after the first few visits my shakes were completely gone! I left my last visit fully satisfied with my results and happy to start a new life with my brand new smile! Thank you!!!
